Trent Alexander-Arnold: will the Liverpool lad join Real Madrid?

The Reds reportedly rejected a £20million bid from Madrid for the defender, whose contract expires in June.

00:35Trent can still improve, I think I saw a bit of improvement already this season,

00:39so these players are top of the world,

00:41so there's not a lot of room for improvement anymore,

00:43but there's always a bit of improvement,

00:46and especially defensively, Trent, in my opinion, has made the step up this season.

00:53Well, I've known Trent since he was 16 years old,

00:57when I used to play, he started when I was playing for the club.

01:01At a young age we could see how good he was.

01:05He's a Liverpool player, he was born in Liverpool,

01:09he's what Liverpool means.

01:11I think it's really important to keep the best players, and Trent is one of them.

01:16I'm a massive fan of Trent, he's a fantastic footballer,

01:20his ability to hit a pass, his range of passing,

01:24his assists, his crossing ability to make goals,

01:28and he's a player who's wonderfully taken free kicks, so he's a goal threat as well.

01:32Of course, contract talks, you always have speculation,

01:37but I think it's really important for Trent to stay at the club,

01:41because it's his home, and I know how much it means for him to play for LFC.

01:48I think everybody saw how great of a first half of the season he had,

01:52how much he is here, how much he wants to win here.

01:56I see him on the training ground every day, working his s*** off,

02:00so he's fully committed to us.

02:04He's another player that I don't see in another kit,

02:06I just want to see him in the Liverpool kit for many years to come.
