00:18The case against the Kuwaiti suspect of the murder of Daphne Calaban is now being heard.

00:23The OFW who was found dead in the suspect's car and was suspected of hiding for two months

00:31is being targeted by the Labour Attaché and the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait.

00:35We expect that the criminal case will be cleared and the prime suspect will be punished

00:42so that we can use justice for our fellow countrymen.

00:46In October 2024, the last employer of Daphne Calaban was suspected of leaving her job.

00:54Now, the DMW is investigating if Daphne was followed by the recruitment agency in the Philippines

01:01as a mechanism to report the transfer of the employer and to verify if the transfer is safe.

01:08We will suspend the recruitment agency while we conduct the investigation.

01:14If the findings are wrong or suspicious, it's better to suspend it before we can send a visa.

01:33it can be removed from the list of agencies that can send workers to Kuwait.

02:24They were also deployed for new hires in Kuwait.
