Three “Gang Atan” members were charged in the Magistrate’s Court in Johor Baru on Friday (Jan 3) with home break-ins and robbery cases.

Teo Kiam Hong, 48, Mah Mui Fei, 46, and Liew Seong Khan, 42, pleaded not guilty to all charges when they were read before Magistrate Hidayatul Syuhada Shamsuddin.

00:21The trio were jointly charged under Section 411 of the Penal Code for stealing a TV from
00:27a house in Taman Mount Austin on December 11 last year.
00:31In the same court, Teo faced four additional charges for receiving stolen goods and keeping
00:36a stolen car, at the same location and date.
00:40Meanwhile, Mah was charged with receiving a stolen identity card on December 11, while
00:45Liu was accused of disposing stolen pieces of gold jewelry at a gold shop on December
00:5114.
00:52The court set February 14 and 25 for the next mention of the cases, and allowed bail of
00:58between 2,000 and 6,000 ringgit, with one surety for each offense.
01:04The trio also pleaded not guilty to drug offenses under Section 15, Subsection 1A of the Dangerous
01:11Drugs Act, which is a non-bailable offense.
01:14The court set February 4 for the next mention.
