00:00Hi, I'm TV writer Matt Monix and I'm here to give you the lowdown on the upcoming season of The Masked Singer.
00:05So, it was on ITV over Christmas, so it's become sort of standard, the Boxing Day special,
00:10but it's back this weekend, 4th and 5th of January, for a double episode.
00:16And there's going to be a bit of a twist up that you might not be expecting,
00:20because judge Rita Ora is not back for this sixth season.
00:24She's been replaced by Maya Jama.
00:27So, it was announced last year that Rita Ora was not coming back for the upcoming season
00:32and now her replacement has been confirmed.
00:35The rest of the line-up is exactly the same.
00:37Joel Dunlap is still hosting.
00:39You know, there's all the celebrities hidden in their masks and costumes
00:43that you'll try and guess over the coming weeks.
00:45And maybe the winner will look to do what Danny Jones did and also win ITV,
00:51also win I'm a Celebrity on ITV next year as well.
00:54So, one to watch out for.
