Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson talks about the need for coaches to make players accountable at training camp in the future after this past year.

00:00That has to be more accountability, I think, up close and personal, kind of just more so
00:10talking to guys, putting them aside.
00:11I think it's one thing to say something when everybody's saying something, but if you can
00:15move a guy to the side, maybe, and have a personal conversation and try to really get
00:19them to understand the magnitude of what's going on and how much we need them, I think
00:23that could do something better.
00:24But, I mean, overall, it's hard to tell.
00:25We kind of have a certain level of expectation that it's going to get fixed, I would say,
00:29so, I mean, just no matter what it is, if it's O-line, D-line, jumping off, or whatever
00:33it may be, it's how we say something and hope that it gets corrected, but, I mean, it's
00:37not like we, in that moment, think, that's going to hurt us in the long run, but, I mean,
00:41of course, potentially, if we don't get it fixed, it definitely can, so I think there's
00:43little things, again, that we weren't doing well, that we weren't sharp on during camp,
00:48definitely came back to us for, I would say, well, just, I think, planning time is the
00:52best way to get somebody's attention, so, I mean, it's just little details, not knowing
00:55your assignments, missing a certain assignment, I mean, to me, I know if I miss an assignment
01:00and somebody else plays, that's an automatic fix for myself, because there's a certain
01:04level of confidence, so, to me, that's the biggest thing that can do to me, so, I mean,
01:08we all got to do, find a way to do a better job at leading and being together and being
01:12on the team.
