00:00On Monday evening, December 30, in Zdziechów, Gniezno, there was a commemoration of the 106th anniversary of the Battle of Zdziechów,
00:12the victorious event in the history of the Great Polish Uprising, which protected Gniezno from the Germans.
00:18The commemoration began with a holy mass conducted by Father Dariusz Larus, a priest of the local parish.
00:24Among other things, representatives of the standard post offices, OSP Zdziechów, hunters,
00:30primary schools named after the Great Polish Uprising in 1918-1919 in Zdziechów,
00:35as well as a group of historical reconstructions of the Uprising in Zdziechów, participated in it.
00:39In the anniversary events, residents of the village, local government officials,
00:44and students of the primary school named after the Great Polish Uprising in Wałków,
00:48dressed in uniforms from the 1918-1919 fighting period.
00:53Traditionally, as every year from Gniezno to Zdziechów, there was a hunter's rally in the footsteps of the Great Polish Uprising.
00:59After the commemoration, everyone went to the monument with a plaque commemorating the heroism of the Uprising fighters in Zdziechów.

01:09Polegli za wolność i ojczyznę.
01:11Znicze were lit, flower wreaths were laid and the national anthem was sung.
01:15At the end, everyone went to the village lighthouse,
01:18in which, next to the village houses in Zdziechów, a procession was prepared.
