00:00We hope to find an opportunity and hopefully win the article.
00:05You've played at full-back, is that your position?
00:07Well, I'm not actually sure what my position is yet.
00:10I play hooker as well, or full-back, but I'm not actually sure yet.
00:14I'm happy playing in both positions.
00:16Yeah, you got, I think you got the full second half, didn't you?
00:20That's been good to play for the 10,000 crowd at Headingley, that amount of game time.
00:26Yeah, really good.
00:27It's mad how much nerves do take a toll on you, which I know.
00:30A few drop more, but after that, it's set me up, obviously, for myself,
00:33dressing the role in the game.
00:35Have you always been an Elites fan?
00:36Always, but I was born into it, so I think I'm not a big fan.
00:40Where do you live in that?
00:41How old are you?
00:4272.
00:44It's very young to be thrown into that environment, isn't it?
00:47You're going to be better for it in the long run, the experience,
00:51having had a taste of that in the dressing room.
00:53Yeah, 100 per cent, 100 per cent it will be.
00:56What are your ambitions for this season?
00:58You've been training with the first team.
00:59You're still, obviously, an academy player.
01:01How do you feel?
01:03Hopefully, yeah.
01:04Hopefully to push on and try and work myself into that team,
01:06but at the moment I'm just learning and learning off of the players,
01:09but that's in the long run, yeah, hopefully.
01:12How good is the training you're doing with the first team?
01:14Really good, really good this pre-season.
01:16It's tough, really tough, but I've learnt a lot, learnt a lot.
01:20It must be good to see what the lifestyle is like away from a match day as well.
01:26Yeah, well, training is class.
01:29It's the best job ever, rugby league, the best job ever,
01:32so to make that full-time, I'd love to do that.
01:34And you've had a big supporter?
01:36Yeah, a big supporter.
01:38Presumably that's how you got into rugby league,
01:41you've always been in that sort of environment.
01:44Does that help, you think?
01:46It does as well, yeah, but my dad, he said it's my time now,
01:49you have your half-time, you make your own name,
01:52which I like, which is good for me.
01:54Yeah, and is it Dewsbury Mall you play at?
01:57Yeah, Dewsbury Mall.
01:58Yeah, there's a few Dewsbury Mall lads, isn't there?
02:00Yeah, yeah, there's lots of Dewsbury Mall lads.
02:02That's obviously good for that club, and for you I suppose,
02:05there's familiar faces around.
02:06Yeah, really, really good club, Dewsbury Mall.
02:08They've got a lot of young lads, young talent coming through.
02:11Perfect.
