Emergency specialists work on site after Azerbaijani jet crashes in Kazakhstan

Emergency specialists are working at the crash site of an Azerbaijan Airlines passenger jet near the western Kazakh city of Aktau. "At the moment, rescue operations are continuing," says Kairat Zhanaspayev, department head at Kazakhstan's EMERCOM. The jet with 67 people on board crashed in Kazakhstan after veering from its scheduled route, according to officials. Azerbaijani authorities said 32 people had survived the crash.
