00:00I was just speaking to a Turkish professor there before you who suggested the FDS haven't gained much from this counter-offensive.
00:09What is your assessment of the situation?
00:11Well, the last few days there have been heavy fighting.
00:14The Syrian Democratic Forces, they have pushed back Turkish-backed groups from some villages around Tishrin until the small town of Abu Qalqal.
00:25So they have benefited actually from the weather because not today but the days before it was quite misty.
00:31So they have been benefiting from the fact that the SNA, they had lack of Turkish aerial support.
00:36So they have been pushed back a little bit.
00:39And also they have been having fighting on other fronts.
00:42And also Turkey has been carrying out the drone strikes on SDF positions.
00:49But there was also a lot of rumors that the SDF entered Manbij, but that's not true.
00:53But they have captured some villages close to Tishrin Dam.
