00:15many Catholic believers still attended the Christmas Eve Mass here in Manila Cathedral.

00:22It was the way to make our personal communities...

00:25The church was full and even outside, there were people praying to be able to attend the Misa de Gallo.

00:31In his homily, Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula of Manila

00:35said that our Lord Jesus Christ is the one who gives hope and strength to us,

00:40despite the challenges in life.

00:42Jesus, who was born in this world, has a name and a family,

00:46is not far from us and we are with him in our journey.

00:50The Christmas Eve Mass is even more special because tonight in Rome,

00:55Pope Francis will formally open the 2025 Jubilee

00:59through the opening of the Holy Door of the Papal Basilica of St. Peter

01:04with the theme of Pilgrims of Hope.

01:07Without Jesus, there is no hope.

01:12His love makes us stronger to face all life's difficulties.
