00:00I suspect that the inconvenient truth about Lockerbie is a huge inconvenience, still,
00:15to the reputation of the governments of my country and of the United States, should it
00:19ever come out.
00:30Like all great states, it is a state of mind, borderless and with no policy of exclusion
00:57or deportation.
00:59It does not pretend to be united.
01:01It doesn't even claim to be civilized.
01:04It does not sell its policy of freedom with the small print of enforcement.
01:33There is a difference between somebody that won't do the job and somebody that they force.
02:00Imagine waking up at 5.30 in the morning with all these people in your house and they've
02:05got on all the riot gear.
02:17When a family are detained and deported, it brings a great feeling of sadness to us, because
02:27in our minds, these people are not asylum seekers, they're our friends.
02:49It's like not sleeping for 20 years, waking up to an entirely different and new world.
03:01He's a terrorist, if you like.
03:03Guilty.
03:05So this is what happens to black boys with big nose.
03:19So what they basically said to us is, he's not a member of any terrorist organization,
03:23there's no bombs that have been found, there's no bullets being found, there's no explosives
03:27being found, there's no guns being found.
03:29He's a Muslim, he's angry at global injustice, and all he's done is to go onto the website
03:33and see what's going on in the world.
03:35And does that make him a terrorist?
03:37Because if that makes him a terrorist, that makes me a terrorist.
03:39And I don't know why I'm here.
