00:00Ricky Henderson passed away over the weekend, 65 years old, 10-time All-Star, two-time World
00:12Series champ, all-time stolen base leader, all-time run scored leaner, won the MVP in
00:1890, first ballot, no doubt about it, on skates backwards, Hall of Famer.
00:23There was nobody like Ricky, Scotty.
00:26You know that.
00:27I mean, nobody like Ricky.
00:28I mean, weren't you surprised that he died at that age, that young?
00:32Seriously, he's 65.
00:33Yes, of course.
00:34Anybody.
00:35I couldn't believe it.
00:36I almost fell over when I saw that he had died.
00:39Seriously.
00:40Anybody that young passing away is obviously a surprise.
00:45But Ricky had, he had a different personality than most people, not just in baseball, but
00:52just in sports.
00:53Like the way he'd talk about himself, you know, Ricky don't like that, Ricky don't do
00:57that.
00:58He didn't worry about him putting a million dollar check on his wall and not cashing it.
01:02You know, there's a lot of really great Ricky stuff and he played basically everywhere.
01:07Right.
01:08I mean, the good portion of his career was Yankees, Oakland.
01:13But I mean, Mets, Seattle, Dodgers, San Diego, you go, I mean, he ended up at the end of
01:17the day playing in a lot of places towards the end of his career.
01:21He drove people crazy, but he was awesome.
01:24You can't argue with his skill and what he did.
01:26He was unbelievable.
01:28He was a great player.
01:29It didn't matter.
01:30He could talk because he was that good.
