00:00I have not talked to you about the Bills yet.

00:05They beat the Patriots 24-21.

00:07I know you talked to Gabe about this game.

00:10I was a little surprised at how slow they started the game and how bad their defense

00:17looked.

00:18Now, to be fair, their defense looked bad the last two weeks, right?

00:21I mean, they gave up 40 points to the Rams and the Lions.

00:24They just ended up winning the Lion game.

00:27So watching New England go up and down the field on them in the first half, I guess shouldn't

00:32have surprised me, but they got some key turnovers.

00:36What really surprised me was that their offense was very out of sync and really didn't do

00:41much.

00:42And look, Allen can't score 40 points every week.

00:47They were due for a week, I guess, like this.

00:49They've been playing such a high level, lots of points.

00:52I know it looks bad because it was against an awful team, but they had a week where they

00:57had to gut one out against a bad team.

01:00I mean, the Chiefs have had like six of those, so the Bills finally had to have one.

01:04I thought the kid played well, so he played tough all day, kept him in the game, made

01:09some good throws.

01:10They didn't try it over a lot.

01:13They didn't make a lot of mistakes.

01:15They were in it.

01:16They got the early lead, and the Bills had to fight back.

01:18You knew they were going to cover when they had the lead early, and they just had to hang

01:22in there, and they lose by three.

01:24But it was a great cover for them.

01:26I thought it was a good game for him.

01:27I think he's going to get a lot of confidence out of it.

01:30He's only getting better.

01:31He's going to end up being a good quarterback, I think, in the long run for them.

01:36He is.

01:37And yeah, when you get up 14-0 and you're getting 14, you'd like to think that it looks

01:42pretty good.

01:44Bills did have a chance at one point, got to 24-14, and if they could have just got

01:48one more, maybe snuck out the cover.

01:51But they were not able to do that.
