00:00There is a railway colony nearby which has around 30-36 flats.
00:05Railway is an elite area.
00:07We went there.
00:08First of all, there are no lights there.
00:10At this time when there is so much crime in Delhi and it is an elite area,
00:14there should have been lights.
00:15Lights are not working properly.
00:17We saw that the previous government had installed some CCTV cameras.
00:20The residents there told us that none of the cameras are working.
00:23So what is the point of installing them?
00:25Plus, there is a little concrete, Shankar Market,
00:27there is no place for children to play.
00:29So we went a little ahead.
00:30I will tell you, once you see it, it is a very beautiful park.
00:33But if you see the park, it will look like a garbage bin.
00:36If that park would have been running,
00:38and these people are telling that when Sheela ji was a MLA here,
00:41the park was good, green, there was light,
00:44children used to play in it, they used to enjoy in it.
00:47So it is such that if the MLAs here do not pay attention to small problems,
00:51then small problems become very big.
00:54So this is giving an inspiration, an inspiration
00:57that this is a place where if we work sincerely,
01:00then we will be able to bring a lot of change.
01:02Look, these are things at the local level.
01:04And these are the ordinary things that any MLA could have done.
01:07It is not that there is a need to bring 50 billion rupees in this,
01:10there is a need to bring a big scheme.
01:12But if the MLA, like these people say,
01:14that madam, in this place, in Shankar Market,
01:16I have come here many times.
01:17So if the Chief Minister used to come here many times,
01:19then we will become ordinary MLAs.
01:21So we will be able to come, we will be able to solve problems.
01:23It is not that NDMC does not have money,
01:25NDMC does not have people,
01:27the railway does not have it,
01:28so the MLA fund is also there.
01:29So if we work on these things in an orderly manner,
01:31then we will be able to solve it on our own.
01:33Look, that is fine, you announced it.
01:35Our question is that you announced it in Punjab two years ago.
01:39Why didn't you implement it there?
01:41If you had announced the implementation in Punjab,
01:43then you should have implemented it in Delhi.
01:45You are doing it 10 days before the elections are declared at the last minute.
01:49So it is just a matter of making a straight line.
01:52And who knows whether they will implement it or not.
01:54If they don't implement it in Punjab,
01:56then how can we trust them here?
01:58Look at the situation there.
01:59We had promised in Karnataka.
02:01There every woman is getting Rs. 2000 or Rs. 25 in her account.
02:04So if the Congress government could have done it,
02:06then why can't the Aam Aadmi Party do it?
02:08Look, we have been continuously, since the last 10 years,
02:11the way we are seeing that they have completely broken the path of Delhi's development.
02:15Delhi, which was believed to have become a really good city in 2013-14,
02:19has been brought to a standstill.
02:22And they were repeatedly revealing this.
02:24We destroyed their education model.
02:26They lied about their health.
02:28We revealed that.
02:29We repeatedly spoke about the infrastructure problem.
02:33And if anyone mentioned their corruption, then we did it.
02:36The whole liquor scam that has come,
02:38the Congress wrote a letter to the government.
02:40Then the inquiry took place.
02:42So the topic that the Indian People's Party is raising today,
02:44we have been raising it from the beginning.
02:46But look, the important thing for us is that
02:48because we are running for the election of the MLA,
02:50what work has been done here or not,
02:52what expectations will people have from their MLA?
02:55For us, that is as important as state-level matters.
02:58No, but security is the main issue.
03:00And look, it is very easy to say in security
03:02that the law and order is with the police.
03:04But especially the crimes related to women,
03:07that is also a mentality.
03:09In which every man, every boy, every person,
03:11sees the woman with respect.
03:13There is a feeling of equality within her.
03:15There is a feeling of respect.
03:17Look, it is not a common crime,
03:19the crime against women.
03:21It has a social aspect.
03:23It comes from education.
03:25So the Delhi government says,
03:27you have done a very good education.
03:29If this is the case, then your boys,
03:31the boys who come out of these schools,
03:33why is there no change in their minds?
03:35They say that we have brought the happiness curriculum.
03:37So if the happiness curriculum was coming,
03:39then there should have been respect for their girlfriends,
03:41for their classmates, for their sisters,
03:43for the girls in the neighborhood.
03:45If social change does not come from your education,
03:47and good values do not come,
03:49then what is the point of education?
03:51Education is not just to take numbers.
03:53And even in numbers, no one has been able to do much.
03:55No, look, we are continuously saying,
03:57we have doubts on EVM, not just us,
03:59a very large part of the people of the country
04:01have doubts on EVM.
04:03And that is why we repeatedly ask the Election Commission,
04:05what is the problem in getting it done in the ballot?
04:07Why are you being stubborn?
04:09What is it? Instead of getting results at 3 o'clock in the afternoon,
04:11will it come at 3 o'clock at night?
04:13When there was not so much technology at that time,
04:15you see, there are so many people here,
04:17results started coming from 11-12 at 1 o'clock.
04:19Results used to come by 2-3-4 at night.
04:21Instead of 3 o'clock,
04:23if we have to sit at the table for 10 more hours
04:25for the faith of the people in democracy,
04:27democracy,
04:29we have to sit at the table for 10 more hours.
04:31Every politician,
04:33there is also a warrior of democracy,
04:35that warrior will fight for 10 more hours.
04:37So we say this again and again,
04:39but if the government does not agree and sits on its stubbornness,
04:41then what should we do being helpless in front of us?
04:43Either we should abandon the elections,
04:45and if the entire opposition wants,
04:47then it can abandon.
04:49Until then, come to democracy,
04:51fight the elections in democracy,
04:53keep your word,
04:55show the weaknesses of the parties in opposition,
04:57discuss why we are better,
04:59this is our duty.
