00:00There are still 6,000 foreigners who used to work for the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators in Pogo
00:08and they are expected to leave the country before the end of December.
00:12According to the Bureau of Immigration's spokesperson, Donna Sandoval,
00:16there is no longer any extension until they leave the country and by the end of January,
00:22they will automatically be blacklisted if they do not leave the Philippines.
00:28According to the Bureau of Immigration, there are 33,000 foreign workers in Pogo
00:33and 21,000 of them have already downgraded their visas.
00:38Many of them have already left the Philippines.
00:42For some of them who have families in the Philippines,
00:46they will be allowed to return to the country as long as they are able to file their documents
00:52and follow the proper process.
00:56If they have reason to come back to the Philippines,
00:58like if they have a spouse or a child in the Philippines,
01:02they should comply with the regulations.
01:07They should go out of the country as part of the downgrading in order to leave
01:11and they may return if they have a legitimate reason to return to the Philippines.
01:18Because if they do not leave, if they do not comply with the regulations,
01:23they will be blacklisted, meaning they will be prevented from re-entering the Philippines.
