00:00I really enjoyed it. It's gone really, really fast. I'm really grateful to be in the position
00:06that I'm in right now. I have a lot to learn, a lot to improve, and the best is yet to come.
00:13The best is yet to come. For you, it has to be Major Silver, five years' time?
00:18This is what we want, to win the big trophies now, without losing the rest of the things
00:24that we have built. That's very important as well.
00:28That's obviously a big part of it. The other thing is the fact that I really enjoy working
00:36with the people I work with every single day, that we have built something together and
00:41so many people have contributed in a big way to achieve that. And the fact that everybody
00:47is hungry and ambitious, that now we have to go to another level.
00:50How do you feel about the managers?
00:53Things are different. It's gone so fast, to be fair. Looking back, it's gone so, so,
00:57so fast. I've enjoyed every minute of it. We're pumps in the row and we have good moments
01:04and that's about it. I'm here because I'm so passionate about what I do, because I love
01:09this football club and I want the best of that. Just try to give your best version every
01:14single day and think what is the best possible manager for Arsenal Football Club and its
01:21players and try to become that manager.
01:24It's a good question. First of all, I don't make decisions by myself. It's always a lot
01:33of time that we share that with the clubs, with the people in the past, the people right
01:38now and as well with my coaches when we have to make decisions like that. It's very difficult
01:43to point one of those. What I would say probably is that I haven't regretted decisions because
01:55we have made them with a lot of analysis and after a very thoughtful process with a lot
02:00of people and some right and many wrong, unfortunately. At the moment, impossible. I have very limited
02:09energy because I put all of it to this football club, to the players and the staff to give
02:15my very best. That's my only ambition, to make this club more successful.
02:19And you know that I'm not going to talk about players from other clubs.
02:26He was very happy. Everybody in the team was really happy, especially because he helped
02:30the team to win the game and get to the semi-finals, which is what we wanted. You can see that
02:36immediate reaction of him, big smile on his face, big energy around him and that's what
02:40we need to have everybody in the highest level of performance and Gabi certainly had a big
02:46one on Wednesday.
02:47Do you get the sense that he's in a place now where he can go on a really decisive run?
02:53Yeah, he's been looking really good since he came back from pre-season after he had
02:57a setback. Then he started to play some good performances without scoring and obviously
03:02what he did the other day, I think it's exactly what we need from our ninth.
03:06He's so up to it.
03:08Yeah, that's possible. With the players that we have and the connection that we can generate,
03:13I think it's very doable to have that kind of situation. And as I said before, really
03:18pleased for Gabi's performance, for the team's performance and most importantly the fact
03:22that we're in the semi-finals.
