00:05Three impeachment complaints have been filed against Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:10Aside from the misuse of confidential funds,

00:13she also mentioned in the latest complaint that she has accused the defendant official,

00:18Tila Pangaliban Perez.

00:21Ladies and gentlemen, lawyers, and members of the NGO,

00:27here are the three impeachment complaints filed against Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:35They said, along with the reasons why Visayas should be removed from office,

00:40is because of their culpable violation of the Constitution and betrayal of public trust.

00:46Like the first two impeachment complaints,

00:49this is related to the misuse of confidential funds.

00:54The impeachment complaint is based on how the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines

01:00illegally disbursed the confidential funds entrusted by the Republic to her.

01:08This is based on the results of the committee hearings done by Congress.

01:16This is based on the facts that the disbursements of the confidential funds,

01:21the disbursements were not properly done.

01:25The use of fictitious individuals.

01:28The third complaint mentioned is the accusation of Vice President Sara Duterte

01:33and several officials of the DepEd who were accused of eavesdropping on the camera.

01:37This is related to the allegation that they were accused of embezzling money from VP Sara.

01:44The complainants asked, if VP Sara will not impeach the camera,

01:49what will stop other officials of the government from embezzling the money of the people?

01:56What makes this complaint different from the two already filed impeachment complaints

02:02is that these priests, these lawyers believe that with what transpired

02:09and with what the public saw during the committee hearings,

02:15it's no longer just the legal and constitutional obligation of the members of the House of Representatives to impeach

02:25and for the Senate to remove from office the sitting Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines.

02:31It has now become their moral obligation to do so.

02:37We are seven priests and other lawyers.

02:41We believe VP Sara committed something illegal and something immoral against the Filipino people.

02:50For us, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness.

02:57The third impeachment complaint was endorsed by Rep. Gabriel Bordado of the Camarinesur 3rd District

03:04and by Ms. O.A. Partylist Rep. Lex Anthony Cris Colada.

03:09The GMA Integrated News is trying to get hold of Vice President Duterte,

03:15but he has repeatedly denied that there was nothing wrong with the use of confidential funds by the OVP.

03:23He has previously denied the allegation of corruption.

03:26He even called a disgruntled employee of the DepEd, one of those who accused him.

03:33According to House Secretary General Reginald Velasco,

03:37he has not yet transmitted the first two impeachment complaints to the Office of the Speaker

03:42and just like the first two impeachment complaints,

03:45the third complaint will be reviewed by the legal department of the Camara.
