00:04Opposition legislators criticized that this year they primed the issues of the executive power

00:13This legislature has been saturated by a series of reforms and projects that have come from officialism,

00:35and proposals that the executive power has presented,

00:39we should be paying attention to projects that necessarily impact Dominican society,

00:46such as the criminal code, which has been piling up here in the Congress of the Republic for about 20 years.

00:52Opposition deputies also criticized the amount of loans taken during this legislative period of work.

01:00The year is not going to close with the great projects that we believed should be the beginning of the legislature,

01:08because for us it was something important that the social security law, the criminal code,

01:14and other laws such as the water law were approved in this legislature.

01:19But the criticism found an immediate response in representatives of officialism in the House of Representatives,

01:25who assured that this was a productive year in Congress.

01:29It seems very positive, really, the leadership of the House that leads us on skates,

01:33because the truth is that last night we left here at night and today, well, a little earlier,

01:38but the leadership has addressed important issues, it has advanced a lot.
