00:00President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. and First Lady Lizaraneta Marcos led the inauguration of the new Philippine OFW Action Center.

00:09Its goal is to pay off the sacrifices of OFWs through a fast and effective process.

00:16The details are in the national news of Kenneth Paciente of PTV.

00:23Gabriel has been an OFW in Saudi for four years.

00:26He admitted that in the past, it was not easy to get the papers of an individual to leave the country.

00:32It's really hard, especially since it's my first time abroad.

00:37It's really hard because you have to meet a lot of requirements.

00:44The experience of OFWs was approved by the government.

00:48President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. and First Lady Lizaraneta Marcos led the inauguration of the new Philippine OFW Action Center.

00:58It is part of the new building of the Department of Migrant Workers in Makati City, according to the President.

01:04This is just one of many steps of the government to pay off the sacrifices of OFWs through a fast and efficient process of their needs.

01:14The Action Center is not just an office.

01:17It is a symbol of fast, efficient, and integrated services for OFWs.

01:26Its goal is to make their process easier, from reintegration, legal assistance, to employment, and other services they need.

01:39This Action Center will serve as a pathway for OFWs so that they won't have a hard time.

01:43Because of its services, they will be able to leave the country, work abroad, and return to the Philippines.

01:53Other government agencies such as the SSS, Pag-ibig, PhilHealth, TESDA, Department of Agriculture, DOH, DOLE, DTI, and others also provide services here.

02:04To all OFWs returning to the Philippines, instead of waiting for a long queue and a long process,

02:12we will provide you with a fast and efficient system so that you can get the services, benefits, and programs of our government.

02:24Also, for our countrymen who will start their journey as OFWs,

02:31you will be helped here in every step of your application.

02:36From contracts, legal protection, to employment,

02:41we assure you that there is a government ready to help you in every corner of the world.

02:47OFWs will also be able to use the space provided for them as a resting place,

02:51while filing documents without being paid.

02:55The President also assured that the government will continue to work hard to speed up the process,

03:00such as the launch of the EGOV-PH Act.

03:02He also said that the government is working hard to create more opportunities here in the Philippines.

03:09Under our government, we assure that every Filipino,

03:15especially our workers in other countries,

03:19will be able to experience fast and efficient services from our government.

03:26Moreover, this is a reminder of a brighter future that we are aiming for every Filipino.

03:36A country does not need to be desolate in order to find decent work.

03:42And for those who choose to work abroad,

03:45they are assured that the government will fully support them.
