00:00In the Philippines, Mary Jane Viloso has returned and her safety has been ensured.

00:05She was immediately sent to the Correctional Institution for Women.

00:08From Naia, Benji Durango of PTV Live has news for the country.

00:17It is now 6 o'clock in the afternoon when the immigration area passed.

00:22Mary Jane Viloso is in Naia Terminal 3.

00:25She boarded the Cebu Pacific Commercial Flight No. 5J760.

00:30At 5.30 in the morning, her airplane landed from Jakarta, Indonesia after a 4.5-hour flight.

00:37She was wearing a mask, a black jacket, and a backpack when she arrived.

00:41While the NBI personnel are worried,

00:44when the VIP lounge left, she was not allowed to get closer to her family.

00:50But her relatives heard her crying and sobbing from afar.

00:57She was accompanied by a doctor. She was immediately taken in a black SUV and left.

01:02This is the first time that the country has seen Viloso after 14 years of imprisonment in Indonesia

01:10because of the case of possession of drugs.

01:14It should be noted that several administrations have passed the case of Viloso.

01:19During the reign of former President Noy Noy Aquino,

01:22several times, Viloso was asked to return to the Philippines.

01:27In 2016, the former President Rodrigo Duterte gave a go-signal execution to the Indonesian government.

01:34This has not yet been completed, so it has not yet been fulfilled by the current administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

01:40In his first state visit to Indonesia in September,

01:45he was convinced to let Viloso return to the country

01:48so that he could continue his sentence, which his entire family was very happy about.

01:54Meanwhile, the DOJ said that Viloso will be brought to the correctional facility

01:58where his family will be given a chance to hug and greet him on his return.

02:04And because of that, he has been separated from them for 14 years.

02:09But Viloso's story does not end here.

02:12Because he will just continue his sentence in the Philippines

02:16in the case that he has been sentenced for a long time.
