00:00So, Friday night, when they played the Nets, it got crazy there, right?
00:08Yeah.
00:09In the arena.
00:10How close were you to all of that?
00:15Really just smack talking and verbal assaults and filthy language and the shrewder taken
00:22on Jenkins and Jenkins mouth was just awful.
00:28And they got it all on mic and it was a scene.
00:31I thought a fist fight was going to break out.
00:33How close were you to that?
00:35And what did you think of it?
00:37Well, we sit, it turns out owners realize that courtside seats make them a lot of money.
00:41So they've moved a lot of the radio spots up into the top of the first deck, but, but
00:46had a good view of it.
00:47And our microphone was down there too, which we made sure did not go over the air, but
00:53it started at halftime.
00:54And I've known enough of John Moran.
00:58I'm not going to sit here and tell you I'm his best buddy and we go hang out and roll
01:01through the town and the clubs and stuff.
01:03But I know job well enough.
01:05I feel like to know that there was something said either during the game or prior or in
01:10the last matchup that had him going with a little extra edge because he makes a shot
01:15at the end of the first half and stares down new Nets head coach, Jordy Fernandez, who
01:20have a ton of respect for, you know, having been in Sacramento, I still know a lot of
01:24people there.
01:25They love that guy when he was there with the Kings.
01:27And I think he's doing a really good job with what he's got in Brooklyn, but it was just
01:31an odd scene.
01:32And you're like, that's not normal job, like trash talk.
01:36That was something extra.
01:38So it continued.
01:39And the way I understand it is that Taylor and Jordy are pretty good friends and the
01:45two coaches were talking and Dennis Schroeder took exception to it and came in and said
01:51some things.
01:52But Taylor has always been one to protect his guys.
01:54I mean, you heard Draymond Green call him out earlier for protecting his guys, which
01:58was hilarious because Draymond Green's coach, Steve Kerr, does the exact same thing, calling
02:03out officials, talking about how this wasn't the right play.
02:07But it's good for you guys.
02:08It's not good for our coach to do it.
02:09So but that's Taylor.
02:12He's always going to defend his guys.
02:13He's been a player's coach since day one.
02:15This was a guy when he took over in 2019 coaching summer league is dancing, getting water thrown
02:21on them because they won a summer league championships.
