00:00Let's get to this week. Ravens and Steelers round number two, this time down in Baltimore. Mike
00:06Tomlin knows what's on the line. The AFC North. We got an opportunity to pursue a division
00:13championship this week. And so, man, we're excited. We respect this process of preparation.
00:19We're going to display our excitement by getting singularly focused on what it is that we need to
00:23do to prepare. That's what the staff's been doing really since the plane touchdown last night.
00:30Yeah, there you go. I'm scared to death of this game, obviously, in the Charm City, but
00:36I've seen him win there before. I've seen him win there last year with Rudolph the Red-Nosed
00:41Reindeer in the pouring rain. I think that, obviously, Lamar Jackson has had his issues
00:47with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I hope those continue in high fashion. I hope they do as well.
00:54This is a pretty big number here. Six and a half for Saturday. Now, this is the second game on
01:00Saturday. Remember, there's two NFL games on Saturday this week. I know that we're going to
01:04be very involved with the college football playoff on Saturday, but there is two NFL games,
01:10Houston and Kansas City and the Steelers and the Ravens. So 430 East on Saturday, minus six and a
01:15half and 44 and a half is the total. That's a lot of points for a rivalry that normally plays
01:23very tight, low-scoring games. That's a lot of points in that game. I like the Steelers with the
01:27points. I do too, but that's screaming. The books are screaming to have the Baltimore Ravens, you
01:34know, beat the Steelers' ass, is what that is. That they're going to beat their ass. I mean,
01:39six and a half, you got to be kidding me. They beat them every time they play them,
01:43and now you're giving them six and a half. Now look, they had five and a half in Philly,
01:48and they were moving the ball until Najee fumbled a perfect pitch. They scored that game. It's a
01:54three-point game. You know, he fumbled the ball and it bounced forward. Eagles got it. The game
02:00was over right then and there. They never sniffed it after that. Not only that, they barely took
02:04snaps after that. They were so awful. They have to play better than they did in Philly. They have
02:10to be ready for this game. I thought the thing that stood out to me, Mike, and I'm sure you
02:14watched, their arm tackling was a real issue for me. They were missing tackles left and right,
02:21and guys were, that guy Gainwell busted two moves on them that left guys' onions split open. I mean,
02:28they were tackling like girls. I mean, it was embarrassing, their arm tackling on Sunday.
02:33It was embarrassing. It was bad, and I was watching. I had the full setup. I had the
02:39Bills Lions on one TV. I had the Steelers and the Eagles on the other TV. I had everything
02:43cooking on Sunday during both the games, and I agree with you. The tackling was very poor,
02:49particularly, as you mentioned, on that second and third level for the Steelers. Those guys on
02:55the back end, they just weren't getting it done, and look, I think that you're seeing a couple
03:00cracks right now, and this is kind of the week where Tomlin's got to, he's got to rally the
03:05troops and get everybody back together and get on the same page. They've always done well against
03:11Lamar. They need to go and do that again this week, but I always get worried about the Steelers'
03:16defense when Watt's not there or compromised. That always bothers me because he is the straw
03:23that stirs the drink for the entire Pittsburgh defense, and if he's going to have a problem on
03:28Saturday. If they don't have him and Pickens in that game, they're dead.
03:33I would not like their chances at all. In fact, if Watt doesn't play, and we'll know this more by
03:41Friday, I think I would side more to maybe not running to that six and a half if Watt's not
03:46playing. It might not be something that I'm going to want to do.
03:49I'm not going anywhere near that bet, and then watching it is going to be absolute torture
03:54for my son, who's coming home tomorrow for the month, and I'm going to watch a game with him
03:58and be miserable and drunk.
