00:00Yes, then how far along, based to your extent of your knowledge, I know that you and Brad Biggs
00:06are also sharing intelligence on this. Are the bears active in their search yet, even to the
00:14point of contacting agents and casting a wide net? Is there movement? Are there phone calls being made?
00:22Oh, there's no question that there has been, you know, feelers put out both directions,
00:27people that are interested in the job, people that the bears are interested in trying to get
00:30this thing together. One thing that I heard, it looked like, you got to remember the 2022 search
00:35included a GM and a head coaching search, and they talked to, I think, two dozen people.
00:39And there was sort of a consistent theme that that was too wide of a net, that it was almost
00:45like they were winging it in terms of like trying to show the appearance of thoroughness when it was
00:51just kind of like, okay, we're going to talk to a bunch of people and then we're going to narrow
00:54it down. But we didn't, how well did we get really get to know any of the 24 that we talked to?
00:58And then we made some decisions and here we are. So I would hope that they are a little bit more
01:03targeted with this search a little bit. And that the people that they are really, really serious
01:08about that they spend a lot of time with, you don't have to do this in one day. It doesn't have
01:12to be one interview, a second interview and finalize it. Like if you want this person to be
01:17your head coach for the next seven, eight, 10, 11 years, do your homework, spend time with them,
01:23try to figure out what their flaws are, what their greatest strengths are, what their fit is,
01:26and make sure you're checking every single box in the research process. Cause if you don't,
01:30we're going to be doing it again in 2027 and 2030 and 2033. It's muscle memory for me now,
01:36Marshall. So it just is what it is.
