00:00Improvements? Probably litter and street mess, if you like, compared, we've just been to Manchester
00:10and it seemed a lot cleaner and tidier there compared to, well you can have a look around here now and see what sort of litter's about.
00:20So I think obviously there's a lot of homelessness in Birmingham, I mean when you walk around just town you can see it.
00:26So I think more support for homelessness would be a really great help to people.
00:32Well I think we've been to Brindley Place a few times, more so in the summer and we've just been for a nice meal
00:38and there's some old barriers sort of chucked to the side in places so it makes the whole feel of it sort of run down, it feels run down, not cared for.
00:47For me personally I think they need to stop building everywhere and retain some of the great architecture that's still left,
00:53I don't think they're building too much in Birmingham at the moment.
00:57In my head I'm comparing it to London which is probably not a good thing, or Brighton, I would definitely say a more independent sector.
01:08So for instance in Brighton it's full of independent shops, you've got places like North Place, I think I'd really benefit from that
01:17and also really brings in the local culture as well and something to emphasise the sort of diversity.
01:24We were just talking about Brindley Place as well and the gentrification of that, it pushes out people who aren't as wealthy.
01:30I do think that it should be better maintained definitely because it's a very nice place, it's got a lot of very nice buildings and areas
01:37but at the same time it does tend to get ruined quite a lot by the local people
01:44and sometimes some place gets to be ruined or it's not as clean as it should be and then it just stays that way
01:50and it just kind of gives it a bad reputation overall, especially from people from other cities in the UK.
01:56But it's actually a very nice place once you get used to it.
