Cubanos varados en Siria denuncian negligencia de diplomáticos

Una familia de origen cubano, residente en Siria denunció que la embajada del régimen de La Habana en ese país les ha dado la espalda y ellos se encuentran atrapados allí.

Mientras los funcionarios del régimen de la isla fueron trasladados al Líbano en días pasados, tras la caída de su aliado, el dictador Bashar al-Assad, aún quedan cubanos varados en Siria. Mahmoud Gavira explicó que el estado actual en Siria es extremo. "Después de las 5 p.m. no podemos salir; hay toque de queda. Tenemos miedo. Es una situación de terror: hay caos, robos generalizados y una proliferación incontrolada de armas. Hemos sobrevivido a tres días de bombardeos. Quemaron las instituciones", agregó.
