00:00Now, Sunday Night Football, critical game for the NFC playoff picture in the Pacific
00:08Northwest. The Seattle Seahawks riding a four-game win streak hosting the Green Bay Packers.
00:13Green Bay booked as a full field goal favorite by the time we reached kick last night in
00:18Seattle and the line was spot on. Green Bay wins comfortably 30-13, snapping that four-game
00:25win streak for the Hawks. A total of 47 and a hook does stay under. The Packers now have
00:32won four of their last five. Green Bay DRS is a 10-4 football team. The Pack as a favorite
00:40this season, 5-4 ATS as they snap that win streak for Seattle, which because of it, the
00:48LA Rams now own that top spot within the NFC West.
00:52Yeah, the Green Bay Packers along with the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions, nobody's really
00:56going to want to show up and say, hey, can't wait to play that team from the NFC North.
00:59They are absolutely action-packed right now. That was a great performance. The one thing
01:03that you usually worry about, which you wouldn't love the quarterback, is can he just be efficient
01:07and lead you to a victory in a tough environment, which playing in front of the 12s in Seattle
01:11is. 20 of 27, 229, two touchdown passes, no interceptions, and a pass rate of 123.8. The
01:17Packers can beat anybody, anywhere, and it's apparent. They did it last year when they
01:21showed up in the playoffs as a sort of surprise, crushing the Dallas Cowboys. But if we are
01:26looking here at the Seattle Seahawks and saying to ourselves, where do we go from here? Well,
01:30it's going to matter what Geno Smith is going to be able to come back and do. He's 15-of-19
01:34for a buck 49 before he went down with that injury. Not to say if he didn't get injured,
01:38they would have won the football game, but much better performance than what we saw to
01:41Sam Howes, 5-for-14 and an interception in that game. They didn't get all that much on
01:45the ground. Why? Because they were down right away 14-0 in the first quarter. It's hard
01:49to crank up that ground game. But also, the NFC West, Ben, does anybody want to win that
01:54division? Is he just going to hang out there right up to the last week and teams are going
01:57to back their way in to a division championship? That was a big game for the Seahawks. Granted,
02:01they weren't even favored to win that game. They were getting two and a half points, and
02:04I actually liked Seattle to win that game. I thought it was one of those measuring stick
02:07games. You win four straight, okay, let's win our fifth straight in a row and handle
02:11a really good Packers team, which they weren't able to do. So it's your best guess, along
02:15with mine, of who's actually going to win that NFC West now with that performance from
02:18the Seahawks and also maybe the health of Geno Smith moving forward.
