Enzo Maresca says Brentford’s goal in Sunday’s chaotic west London derby is proof Chelsea cannot win the title - despite watching his side make it five Premier League wins in a row.The Blues extended their unbeaten run to 10 matches across competitions with a 2-1 triumph over Thomas Frank’s side at Stamford Bridge.Chelsea dominated much of the contest and led 2-0 thanks to goals from Marc Cucurella and Nicolas Jackson, only for Bryan Mbeumo to set up a nervy finish, with his 90th-minute strike leaving the hosts hanging on through seven minutes of stoppage time.Brentford were unable to find a leveller, though, and the win moves Chelsea to within two points of Premier League leaders Liverpool, who have one game in hand.

00:00Well it's just after full-time here at Stamford Bridge after what felt a really significant win
00:04for Chelsea in a Premier League title race that whatever Enzo Maresco says I think we all have
00:09to agree now they are firmly in the gap to Liverpool is just one point albeit Liverpool
00:14have a game in hand after Brentford beat after Chelsea beat Brentford rather 2-1 here it probably
00:19should have been more comfortable than it was in that Chelsea dominated the first half in particular
00:23they led 1-0 at the breakthrough Mark Kukerea they missed a hatful of chances including an
00:28open goal for Nicholas Jackson but he then made it 2-0 Brentford had a couple of big chances
00:32either side of that and did pull one back heading into the into stoppage time through Brian and
00:38Buemo it might have been a nervy end for Chelsea they actually saw out the stoppage time period
00:43fairly well but then there was a bit more drama at the whistle with Mark Kukerea picking up a
00:47red card he'll be suspended at Everton next week which is a bit of a blow for Enzo Maresco but
00:52great scenes here at full time up in the stands at least if not on the pitch and you can feel
00:57belief is really building
