00:00The government's agencies continue to provide assistance to the residents affected by the earthquake in Lopez, Quezon.

00:13The Department of Public Works and Highways, Port Engineering District will provide assistance to more than 51 families
00:21or 124 individuals who lost their homes in Barangay Matinique, Lopez, Quezon due to the earthquake
00:28last Saturday night. Particular assistance for the affected residents today is food packs.
00:35According to Engineer Rodel Orlina-Florido, District Engineer of DPWH Sports,
00:41Governor-Doctor Helen Tan assigned the task of assisting the families affected,
00:46who are now in the evacuation center.
00:49The Governor-Doctor also instructed to repair the roads and other areas affected by the incident.
00:56At the same time, the DPWH will conduct a structural integrity assessment on the national road
01:03together with the Municipal Engineering Office to determine the area affected.
01:08Aside from the 35 houses affected, the two schools in Matinique Elementary School were also affected.
01:15Not only the railways and the national highway, but also a large vehicle heading to the nearby town of Ondagua,
01:22the power and water supply of some houses were also cut off.
01:25The water reservoir of Matinique Village was affected by the flood of 1,157 residents.
