00:00Let's start with our countrymen in the evacuation center in Canlaon City.
00:05Jesse Atienza of PTV will bring you the news live from the countryside.
00:12We are here at Jose Cardenas Memorial High School.
00:16This is the biggest evacuation center in Canlaon City,
00:21in the province of Negros Oriental,
00:23where more than 1,000 internally displaced persons or IDP
00:28are currently staying.
00:31Earlier, we were able to reach our IDP countrymen
00:36who are getting their breakfast.
00:39Although we were not able to reach them,
00:41according to the DSWD, they conducted Zumba sessions
00:45with our countrymen here
00:47so that they can start their physical activity.
00:51According to the DSWD,
00:53later at 9 a.m., they will conduct activities
00:57for the youth, such as arts and crafts and games.
