00:00The Armed Forces of the Philippines, along with their mandate to protect the West Philippine Sea,
00:06are working hard not to let the situation get out of hand.
00:09This is followed by a reminder from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
00:13about the government's actions in the WTS.
00:17According to the Philippine Navy, they will continue patrolling.
00:21In fact, they have already patrolled 300 maritime and aerial patrols
00:25in the past month, aside from other operations.
00:29The Navy also added that they are under the jurisdiction of other government agencies
00:33and they cannot be targeted despite the harassment committed by China.
00:40Our President's guidance is that all our actions should be bound by international law.
00:45All our actions should be non-escalatory.
00:48All our actions should support the 26-year arbitral tribunal ruling.
