00:00A huge game coming up on Sunday, getting predictions.
00:03People are sending them in via ticket text.
00:05Watch your phone calls as well at two four eight five three nine ninety seven
00:08ninety seven lines of bills.
00:09How you see this one going down?
00:11What is your biggest fear going into this game?
00:13And I already sense that some people are having no fear,
00:16no fear whatsoever.
00:18It is a chesty fan base as we get set for this one.
00:20Gator, I got the Lions winning at thirty seven thirty one.
00:23And I think it's one of those games that we should we should hail punts
00:27when you get the other team to punt.
00:29I should draw a loud applause and it usually does at Ford Field.
00:33But I like home field advantage.
00:34I like the Lions offense to move the football, finish in the end zone plenty.
00:39And and it might be one of I'm hoping it's one of those games
00:43where Jack Fox is his only job is to hold the football
00:47and field goal attempts and extra points.
00:49That'd be nice.
00:50That'd be nice. I'm a little
00:53more optimistic about the offensive output.
00:55I like thirty eight points for the Lions.
00:59You know, five touchdowns and a field goal, because I do think
01:02that they're going to be pretty hard to stop
01:04and seeing what the Rams did to the Buffalo.
01:07Obviously, there are going to be different games, but
01:10I think the Lions can be just as efficient, but maybe fall a little shy
01:13in terms of points this week.
01:15And Buffalo is going to score some points.
01:18But I do feel a lot more encouraged knowing that these guys are
01:21some of these players are coming back.
01:23I'm not in the double digit disco area that the morning show is at.
01:30But I'm not far from it.
01:33I'm going to go 38 to 30.
01:36OK. All right.
01:38Two, four, eight, five, three, nine, ninety seven, ninety seven.
01:41What do you got, people?
01:43Here's some of the feedback coming in.
01:45David writes in the Lions lose thirty seven, thirty three.
01:48Josh Allen builds his resume for MVP status.
01:51I think the Bills offense is just too good.
01:54I just need everyone to relax.
01:55A loss means nothing.
01:57Well, potentially means nothing.
01:59Yeah. And it's interesting because you don't disagree
02:02that their offense is good, right?
02:03No. Is it better than the Lions?
02:06And then you have to ask yourself, what about the defense?
02:08The Bills defense goes to the Lions defense?
02:10I don't think either are the case.
02:12I think that the the skill set.
02:17That the quarterback has, he presents a different element.
02:20And the Lions defense.
02:23I mean, the Lions defense, if they get people back,
02:25I kind of feel like it'd be an excellent game to prove
02:27that what we've seen the last six quarters is simply a result of
02:31of them, the totality of the impact of the injuries.
02:35But no, I don't think the Bills offense is better than the Lions.
02:39And I don't think the Bills defense is better than the Lions.
02:41Now, on this particular Sunday.
02:45You know, one offense can be better than the other.
02:48You know, one offense can be better than the other
02:50that you wouldn't expect.
02:51And the same thing with the defense.
02:52But I just thought I'd throw that out there.
02:54I mean, it just it feels like all things being equal.
02:58The Lions are the better team.
03:00But there is a little wild card factor because of what Josh Allen can do.
03:04And in years past, we've seen the Lions struggle at times
03:08with a quarterback that's able to take off and go.
03:11Now, they've corralled some of those guys this year.
03:14And they're 12-1, which is ridiculous to think.
03:19The Lions are 12-1.
03:20Let that sink in for just a second.
03:22They've lost one game out of 13 so far this year.
03:25They're 12-1.
03:27Yep.
03:27You know, it's like if this is college football,
03:29they'd be on top of the AP poll.
03:31It's pretty impressive.
03:32Yep.
03:34Yes, they would.
03:34It's pretty damn impressive.
03:35Unnamed Texner, as much as I want to predict a Lions victory
03:39with Buffalo coming off a loss,
03:40I think they'd come out hot and win 34-31.
03:44So this is interesting because the first two texts we get
03:46are predicting Bills wins.
03:48The morning show, when they got very chesty
03:50and opened up the double-digit disco,
03:53I heard Jim Costa make the comment,
03:56every call we've got has agreed with us.
03:59But the majority of the Texters disagreed.
04:03People text over.
04:04You have to remember, we try to create a safe space here.
04:07Right.
04:07For the most part, I think we're accepting of differing opinions.
04:12There are a few things, a few buttons that can be touched.
04:14It might set us off every once in a while,
04:16but we have no issue if you want to call in and predict a Bills win.
04:19It feels like people want to do this.
04:21They feel like it's a not safe space to pick against the Lions.
04:25Picking against the Lions in this game is not a mortal sin.
04:29I don't think they're going to lose.
04:31But remember, my biggest fear is that the Bills have the football last
04:35and that's because I think it's going to be a close game,
04:37a one-score game.
04:39And if they have the football last,
04:41I think it's going to be a extraordinarily difficult offense to stop.
04:47DG and Fenton says Lions 42-38.
04:50Josh Allen scores three rushing touchdowns.
04:52Biggest fear, a golf injury.
04:55Well, that's I mean, that's the biggest fear of everyone for the entire season.
05:01It'll be 34-31 again, just like last week, right?
05:05Scott and Carlton.
05:06Buffalo has the ball at the end of the game
05:08and they will have to go for it on fourth down
05:10and Brian Branch will intercept Josh Allen.
05:12We take a knee to win the game.
05:14I like it.
05:16Matt and St. Clair Shores, 41-38.
05:19Lions, Bates with a 60-yard walk-off field goal.
05:242-4-8-5-3-9-97-97.
05:26Let's go to Nick.
05:27You're on 97-1 a ticket.
05:28Hi, Nick.
05:31Hey, Nick.
05:33Hey.
05:35Hey.
05:36Good talk, Nick.
05:40You made some great points.
05:45What do you suppose happened there?
05:47You think Nick panicked?
05:51Because he's the one that hung up.
05:54I think there was an accidental hang-up.
05:56Did he?
05:56Yeah.
05:57I think it's one of those things that maybe he was going to take off speaker
06:01and go back to hands.
06:03Yeah, I think maybe.
06:04Handheld and then accidentally disconnected the phone.
06:07Perhaps.
06:07Alex and Romeo writes in score prediction.
06:10Lions and Bills.
06:11Lions, 33.
06:11Bills, 30.
06:12Lions will get the ball last to seal the deal from Legatron.
06:17Obviously, Jake Bates.
06:18Alex and Romeo with the Lions pick.
06:20I like that.
06:21I hadn't heard that one yet.
06:22I hadn't heard that either.
06:23I like Legatron.
06:23We can work with that.
06:25Has that been going around?
06:26Are we the last ones to the party on Legatron?
06:31No, nobody else has heard that.
06:33I had not heard the Legatron thing.
06:34So, 248-539-9797.
06:38So, some of the picks swinging back in the Lions' favor here.
06:41Look, you got, everybody's predicting a high score, which is funny
06:45because Ben Johnson yesterday when he met with the media, you know,
06:49was asked about, do you feel pressure to, you know, score on every drive
06:53here because of the way this game is possibly going to go?
06:55And he goes, I've been around long enough to know this game's probably
06:58going to be like 14-10.
07:00When everybody's saying one thing, I've seen plenty of them where
07:02they go the other way.
07:03If it were playing in Buffalo, I would agree.
07:07Last I checked, they're still playing here in Ford Field where the snow
07:11is on the outside of the building, not on the inside of the building.
07:13Right.
07:14And there's no rain to worry about.
07:15So, you're not going to get this, you know, what you had last night.
07:19Right.
07:20Which was the first no-touchdown game in the NFL of the season game.
07:24What a barn burner that was.
07:27I did, you might find this hard to believe, but I actually fell asleep.
07:31Did you?
07:31Yes.
