00:00It's Thursday night Intel and it's at Stonewashed Denim Jeans in Santa Clara, California, Levi's.
00:10It's the Niners and the Rams, and there's a lot of news on this one.
00:13Yeah, let's start with the visiting team, the Rams.
00:15Now, historically, they haven't played well there, but they're the healthiest of the two
00:19teams.
00:20So one corner is going to be out Kobe Durant.
00:23He's got a, he's got a chest injury.
00:25The problem is there's just not enough time on a short week and it's a shame.
00:28Tyler Higbee, if you remember, he tore an ACL late last season.
00:32He's close, but they're on a short week here.
00:35He's been out all season.
00:36He got hurt last December.
00:38So the hope is he can return next week.
00:40So they're not going to have him.
00:41And he's such an underrated 10-man, but they're not going to have him tonight.
00:45Now, for the 49ers, Isaac Correndo, the rookie out of Louisville, I actually met Isaac last
00:51summer.
00:52He's got a very lightly sprained foot.
00:54They think he's going to be able to go tonight, but the question is how long could he go?
00:57Could he play a ton of snaps that they're not going to know until they get into the
01:00game and he gets through pregame warmups?
01:02Now, if anything happens, it's Patrick Taylor, who played in this zone scheme that they run
01:06with the 49ers.
01:07He played in with Green Bay.
01:08He'll back them up.
01:09And Izzy Abanacanda, who was a draftee of the Jets, he'll be the third string running
01:14back.
01:15Now, the good news is they're going to get Aaron Banks back, who's their left guard from
01:19concussion.
01:20He had missed the last two games.
01:21He's back.
01:22Ben Bartsch, who was filling in for him, has a high ankle sprain.
01:25He got put on IR today.
01:28But the big news is, Scott, this is great news for them.
01:30Drake Greenlaw, you might remember, anyone who watched the Super Bowl, he was running
01:34back onto the field.
01:36He tours the Achilles of the Super Bowl.
01:38Well, guess what, folks?
01:39He's finally back for this game today within the last hour and he's going to play tonight.
01:44That's a big story and a great sort of good news story for the football team, a Niners
01:50team that, as you know, has been besieged by injury on both sides of the football.
01:54But getting Greenlaw back tonight, that'll help.
01:56We should also add Trent Williams will not play tonight.
01:59He'll miss his fourth straight game.
02:00He had the personal tragedy in his family, unfortunately, also, and the ankle injury.
02:06So he's going to miss now four games.
02:08And Jalen Moore, who's a fourth-year player, will fill in for him.
02:11Wow.
02:12So, and everyone knows that they're desperate to win out.
02:17If they have any hope at all of getting a wild card, they literally have to win out.
02:22Do you think that they can pull this off with all of their injuries and depth problems?
02:29Yeah, they absolutely could win tonight.
02:31The Rams are so inconsistent.
02:33But if you look at the schedules, which I've done already, Seattle's in the driver's seat.
02:37It's not just that they have eight wins.
02:39They're playing the best football of that division.
02:41The Cardinals have fallen off like we all expected would happen.
02:44They got off to that great start.
02:46Seattle right now is in the driver's seat for the NFC West.
02:49I would agree with your assessment.
02:50The Niners are pretty much going to have to win out to win that division.
02:53And even then, it's not a guarantee because Seattle's got a pretty favorable schedule here.
02:58But the Niners, they lost too many games they should have won.
03:01But they got to get the job done for the final quarter of the season, and it starts tonight.
