00:00The Philippine National Police assured that there will be no cover-up until the case of Karumal Dumad

00:05which was just investigated by a police who found the bodies in Baguio City.

00:10According to the PNP, the victim was not only shot but also stabbed.

00:20We just want to assure the family that we will dig deeper into this case,

00:27that we will not cover this up.

00:29Assuming for the sake of arguments that there is a semblance of truth

00:34in what Lieutenant Pascua said, that he caught his wife and the victim in a very improper manner,

00:43it does not justify the killing.

00:45Much worse, the dismemberment of the body and the eventual burying of the dead body

00:53in their ancestral home.

00:55This is what the Philippine National Police or PNP assured

00:58during the investigation of the Karumal Dumal case

01:01which was investigated by a policeman in Kapo Police in its camp on November 28.

01:07According to PNP spokesperson, Police Brigadier General Jane Fajardo,

01:11the case of the wife of the suspect and from the custody of the Taguig City Police Office

01:18has been transferred to the headquarters of the NCRPO.

01:22Fajardo said that the autopsy report of the body of the victim has been released.

01:27It was found that the victim was shot twice and there were many stab wounds to the body.

01:33PNP also recovered the so-called HACSO,

01:36which the suspect said was used to dismember the body of the victim.

01:41We are still establishing, I understand,

01:43the wife's house was also accessed to establish if we have any bloodstains

01:51to establish where the shooting and stabbing took place

01:55and eventually the cutting of the victim's body.

02:49The son of the victim, who is also a police officer,

02:52said that he did not believe the statements of the suspect.

02:56For the son of the victim, there were 10 to 20 deaths from his father

03:01and the shooting was planned back in March.

03:04The victim was found dead after his son reported that his father was missing

03:09and that he was from Puerto Princesa.

03:12In the investigation and the help of CCTV footage,

03:16it was found out where the victim went

03:18until the suspect confessed to the murder.
