00:00There was, there's a lot of hard work that's put into this play.
00:19This is the first, this is my 14th show, it's the first one that I've done that was not
00:23a musical.
00:24Of course, there's still some musical elements to it, but I think the hardest part for me
00:28was trying to just get over being able to express emotions without singing and dancing.
00:33It's been really fun working with all the people, and it's also an eye-opening, because
00:54I wasn't a big fan of Shakespeare.
00:56But this is really fun, and I would definitely do a Shakespeare play again.
01:15And they had to appoint a stage manager because they thought that backstage was really chaotic
01:20and messy.
01:21So they appointed me, Teagan, and Sam.
01:31I took the lyrics from the beginning monologue in Romeo and Juliet, and I just added a couple
01:37of music and notes and just a little tune to go with it for the whole ensemble to sing.
01:50I was supposed to check the program to make sure that my name was in the right place,
01:54and I just saw that my name was also in ensemble, and I clicked it off, but I'm technically
01:58from Montague.
02:00So I was supposed to write that I was supposed to be in the Montague area, but I forgot,
02:06so I'm just ensemble now, and my name's written down as Kira Stanton.
02:21I think it was a really good experience because I got to know new people.
02:25And I really enjoy all the people that I've spent time with here.
02:40This play, this play has been great.
02:43I've made tons of new friends, friends that I know from acting class with Mr. Lau, because
02:47our class is really big, and so then a lot of them came over to here, and some of the
02:53guys in that class, like me and Sam, Olivia, we kind of inspired them to come audition
02:59and stuff just for, you know, because we were kind of being a little silly in the class,
03:02you know, show them how much fun they could be having.
03:48Oh!
03:49I know, I know.
04:01I think Mr. Lau is awesome.
04:03He's a great teacher, and he's a great director, and he is really, really funny.
04:10Probably the smartest man I will ever meet.
04:12He is constantly teaching new stuff, even when he doesn't intend to teach you, he just
04:19always has something to say and always makes you smile.
04:22All the hard work that he put into the show, even though he had to take the break, he's
04:27a great mentor and a good man.
04:29Definitely recommend everyone to take his class.
04:31The funniest person, the best teacher, and a real inspiration.
04:38Okay.
04:42Bye!
04:44Bye!
