00:20endangering or illegal racing on public roads.
00:24This move is intended to be a form of prevention
00:27for those involved in related activities.
00:30In addition, the Ministry of Road Traffic and the Royal Malaysian Police
00:34are always working together to carry out joint enforcement activities
00:38involving various agencies, local authorities and local authorities.
00:42Among them, the joint enforcement operation Op Samseng Jalanan.
00:47This operation is carried out in a continuous manner,
00:50in cooperation with other agencies such as JPJ,
00:53AADK, the Surrounding Area Department,
00:56the Leboh Raya Concession and others.
00:58The main focus is to contain and prosecute individuals
01:01involved in illegal racing activities and dangerous actions on public roads.
01:05The second is monitoring and monitoring through social media.
01:09The JPJ and JSPT are increasing monitoring
01:14of groups and individuals involved in mud ramping.
01:18This monitoring is also involved in hot areas
01:21which are often used as gathering places
01:24and mud ramping activities for identification and gathering evidence.
01:28The third is education and awareness campaigns
01:31through the OBS Didik program,
01:33which is carried out together with schools, universities and the general public
01:37in an effort to educate young people
01:39on the dangers of dangerous actions on public roads.
01:43The next is stricter punishment.
01:45The government is studying to amend the existing laws
01:49by introducing stricter punishments
01:51for violations related to dangerous actions and illegal races.
01:54The draft amendment involving the Road Traffic Act 1987
02:00has been brought to the State Prosecutor's Office.
02:02This step has been taken to ensure that the punishment
02:08can be a form of deterrence and deterrence to the perpetrator.
02:12The next is to restrict the activity of selling and modifying
02:16motorcycles that do not comply with the specifications.
02:20The Ministry of Transport through the JPJ will continue to work
02:23with related agencies such as the Ministry of Transport,
02:27the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Housing
02:29in restricting the activity of selling and modifying motorcycles

02:56The restricting of vehicles that have been confiscated
02:58and the infringement of modifications
03:00will give awareness to other motorcycle users.
03:04This is because most of these thieves
03:07are not alarmed by the confiscation actions
03:11since they know that all items that have been confiscated
03:13will be returned.
03:15In this case, the government will implement enforcement actions
03:19in a straightforward and effective manner
03:21to rectify the violations on the road,
03:23especially the activity of illegal races
03:25through the group of teenagers or teenagers.
03:32Thank you, Minister, for the long answer
03:36and also for the seriousness of the government
03:39in fighting these illegal races.
03:42My question is, is the government ready
03:45to take steps to confiscate their motorcycles
03:51and then protect their motorcycles?
03:54And secondly, to force them to carry out
04:00community services or social duties
04:04that are under the control of the government?
04:08Please, Minister.
04:10What has been suggested are good suggestions.
04:13As I said earlier,
04:15we are now tightening the existing laws.
04:19Perhaps, from the results of these laws,
04:22this is one of the things that can form
04:27and teach this generation or this group of teenagers.
04:31So, thank you for the suggestions,
04:35such as confiscating, protecting,
04:37and for services, social duties, and so on.
04:41We will take note.
