00:00I travel outlook and forecast for the next day or two here. We're going to take you through a really disruptive Wednesday. Look at this mess for the East Coast. Here comes the squall line. We got wind, rain, snow in the interior. A major delay is likely into New York City and surrounding areas. We'll have some showers, maybe even a thunderstorm in Miami. Rain mainly in the morning Atlanta, but it stays breezy in the afternoon and snow showers will be falling into places near Chicago and Minneapolis as well.
00:25The Northwest actually has the least disruptive weather in the nation. We're looking good here for most of the key travel points. In the Southwest we're also looking fairly decent. Winds will be decelerating into areas around the L.A. Basin.
00:40Up into Casper we're still windy in the morning. We're going to be breezy in the morning into Kansas City and Omaha and we have some snow showers around Minneapolis as well. Farther south we're looking better in most areas, although it will still be a bit windy in New Orleans in the morning and in Little Rock. Very breezy weather. A minor flight delay tied to that there.
01:00We're going to have major problems though into Raleigh down to Jacksonville with soaking rain through the morning and wind as well, even a thunderstorm possible. Showers in Atlanta and later in the day we'll see some showers roll into Miami too. Up into the Ohio Valley and parts of the Midwest, here we have these snow showers and even a snow squall possible. For the most part we're going to be dealing with minor delays, but just be aware if the snow picks up we could really see things become dangerous in a brief period of time in areas around Columbus as that squall moves in.
01:30Into Buffalo, rain changing over to snow showers. Then we have widespread issues closer to the front. Montreal, chance for some flooding and rain. Bangor, Maine, wind and rain there. Boston, soaking rain, low visibilities, high volume airports are going to have a difficult time managing this in and around Newark. LaGuardia, JFK, New York, Philadelphia, International, look out for major delays and minor delays in Baltimore and D.C. Overall we are expecting a big spike around 500 flights canceled this Wednesday.
