00:11Last January, Snoop Dogg's daughter Corey was busy planning her wedding to fiancΓ© Wayne
00:16Deuce when the unthinkable happened.
00:19At just 24 years old, she suffered a severe stroke.

00:27It's hard for me to revisit that day."

00:30"...anyone who knows me and knows my daughter is my kryptonite."
00:33Now it wasn't Corey's first health crisis.
00:36At 6, she was diagnosed with lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease, and in 2021, she revealed
00:41in an Instagram post that she had tried to take her own life while battling depression.
00:46The stroke was an especially powerful wake-up call for her and her loved ones.
00:50She tells us,
00:51"...you know, a stroke is no joke.
00:52It brought me and my family closer, seeing that anything can happen in a snap of a finger."
00:58The harrowing ordeal will play out in Snoop Dogg's fatherhood, Corey and Wayne's Story,
01:02a three-part docuseries that debuted on E! on December 5.
01:06Snoop tells us,
01:07"...most people wouldn't feel comfortable sharing their experiences, but she wants to

01:13Snoop describes his relationship with his daughter as very tight, with Corey saying
01:18it's a beautiful relationship.
01:20He tells us on How They Are Alike, saying that there are lots of little things.
01:23We eat the same way, move the same way, we're similar in our work ethic, we're both driven,
01:29we've always been moved to help others and put other people before ourselves.
01:34And what is it like having such a famous dad?
01:36She tells us,
01:37"...I used to be like, I'm so tired of being Snoop Dogg's daughter, I want to be Corey.
01:41But that's just my life, and instead of being angry, accept it and appreciate it and take
01:46advantage of it the best way you can."
