As the future of Liverpool’s star men Mohammed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk are seemingly running thin at Anfield, it’s no secret the club need to act fast before losing out on them as free agents in the summer. Here’s a look at their latest contract situations at the club.

00:00So, we're looking at Liverpool and obviously, as we approach halfway through this Premier
00:08League season and there's been no updates on Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold
00:13and Virgil van Dijk's futures as well, which we mentioned a lot in the summer, was going
00:17to be quite a standout topic throughout the season, especially when the season continues
00:24to go on and there's been no updates by the club. The players have certainly said a few
00:29things themselves, but in terms of the fans listening, fans watching, what could you give
00:35an update on and what's the stance of the club when it comes to these star players?
00:40Because if they are to go ahead and win the league with Liverpool and have an amazing
00:45season then maybe opinions and positions could change when the summer comes and it's time
00:52for them to possibly move on. What's the latest you can tell us?
00:55Yes, it was interesting after the Southampton win, obviously Mohamed Salah speaking to the
01:01press back in the mix zone. He doesn't often give interviews, Mohamed Salah, he very frequently
01:07walks past or says some polite comments, maybe next week a little joke or whatever, but he
01:16took his time out to go and speak to the press and say there's been no offer on the table.
01:22For me that's very direct plans, if I'm honest with you. He's probably been told by his agent
01:31we need to start getting some talk going here because quite clearly talks are stalling. There's
01:39no doubt that Liverpool have been in talks with his agency, with Edgeband, Trent Central,
01:44Alexander-Arnold, but they haven't been able to really come to the point, certainly with Mohamed
01:52Salah it seems, that you think he'll sign a contract if they draw one up. Maybe they're
01:57too far apart in wages, Liverpool worry about his age, he's obviously going to be 33 in June,
02:03but he's not stopping. Are one party waiting for each other to blink maybe? I don't know,
02:12Edgeband's eyes are a little bit different, I think he's a bit more relaxed about him.
02:17Maybe he comes out of Moneyball to Alexander-Arnold as well, maybe he thinks, no I deserve
02:23this, obviously Liverpool moving to Adidas next season and him signing with Adidas,
02:27maybe that's got something to do with negotiations. I'd be disappointed if at least two of them don't
02:38stay, I must admit. I think the one that supporters are rightly concerned about mainly is
02:44Alexander-Arnold because he's just hitting his peak years and he's a Boyled fan who came through
02:54the academy and could potentially leave the club for absolutely nothing.
