00:04A police officer was stabbed in Baguio City.

00:08He was killed by Kapwa Police.

00:10But the victim's family planned their love for each other's lives.

00:21Last Thursday,

00:23authorities in a house in Pugsusan, Baguio City

00:28stabbed the body of a man.

00:31The Baguio City Police Office confirmed that the victim was a 55-year-old

00:36police executive master sergeant from Puerto Princesa, Palawan

00:40who was suspected to be missing since November 28.

00:44The suspects in the crime were a police lieutenant colonel

00:47who was stationed in the Eastern Police District and his wife.

00:51In his extrajudicial confession,

00:54the male suspect saw his wife and the victim in their apartment.

00:59The reason was that he shot them.

01:02He also used a knife to cut the victim's body

01:06and stabbed him twice.

01:08He was taken to Baguio City and buried in the basement of their ancestral house.

01:13What our Baguio City Police Office personnel did

01:16was to coordinate with the SOCO

01:20and afterwards, they went to the place where the victim was buried.

01:25They examined the body

01:29and they saw that it was placed in two bags.

01:34The suspect is currently in the custody of Taguig Police Station

01:38while an in-depth investigation is underway.

01:42The victim was taken home to Palawan in Labi after he was cremated.

01:46Our countrymen should not be afraid

01:48because the Baguio City Police is here to protect

01:51and to ensure the security and safety of the people of Baguio.

01:57In a Facebook post that introduced the victim's family,

02:01they stated that they planned to kill their father since March of this year.

02:06The reason was that they considered it a massacre and not a murder.

02:11According to the family,

02:12forcible abduction and merciless torture were the crimes of the victim before he was killed.

02:18The family believed that it was not just the husband

02:22who was behind the gruesome murder

02:25and that they had other accomplices.
