00:00The 15th installment of the Arabian Travel Market is opened at Dubai's International
00:09Convention and Exhibition Center.
00:11On hand to start proceedings was Emirates Group Chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Sayed Al Maktoum.
00:16The exhibition is set to run over four days, with some of the region's leading developments
00:21present.
00:22Among them was Nakhil, who was showcasing the Atlantis Resort on the Palm.
00:25We have two wonderful treasures which are our two suites that are built in the actual
00:30marine life.
00:31So there are two suites that are underwater in a sense that you can look into this.
00:36Some lucky people can book those and experience it.
00:38The expo is hosting new-to-market exhibitors, as well as companies keen to show they are
00:43keeping up with market trends.
00:45What we do is we look at the expansions, we've already expanded our routes, we've already
00:50planned to go onto the Palm, up to Atlantis.
00:54It's very important that the tour company moves at the same pace as Dubai.
00:59It promises to be a glitzy event with over 2,000 participants from over 90 countries.
01:04Organizers say that's a record number, an 8% increase on last year's event.
