00:31during its recent hosting of the Bohol International Flower Festival held in Panglao Island.
00:37The International Flower Festival has bloomed since it started with only one florist during the pre-pandemic period
00:43to 20 international and local florists and fashion designers this year, according to organizer Michael Yu.
00:50We started with just one florist pre-pandemic, and after the pandemic, after two years, we invited around 10 or 12 florists.
01:00Two years ago, and last year, we had about 20 international floral masters from all over the world, Europe, Asia.
01:11This year, we have about 21 with some assistance from as far as Helsinki, Budapest, Japan, Indonesia.
01:24The Boholano and Cebuano fashion designers, along with the international master florists,
01:29showed their creativity, artistry, and collaboration as they gathered in Bohol to create extraordinary floral masterpieces.
01:37The participating florists enjoyed the event, as well as their experiencing first-hand Bohol's commitment to innovative and sustainable tourism experiences.

01:48The event was supported by the local government to also help raise more awareness among the Boholanos on the importance of promoting sustainable practices.
