00:00I think it should be recognised. I think like all of the bits and pieces from our past. I mean
00:07Britain's not alone. We all have murky pasts and I've done terrible things.
00:13Most countries have that. I don't know, give me a country that hasn't somewhere along the line.
00:18In our development we've maybe, we've moved a little I think. Not enough but yeah. I think it's
00:30um, I think it's important to acknowledge that we're not, you know, sort of the
00:36the saints of the world, that's for sure. Taking responsibility in history, you know,
00:42what happened, also the protest that happened years ago in Bristol that also basically
00:52put down a statue, I think, of somebody who was involved with the slave trade.
00:59I've never really thought about it that much before, until now. But yeah, it's really important.
01:04I think it's easy to underestimate how much slavery there is, modern day slavery, in the UK
01:11and especially London. And yeah, it would be great to put a stop to that somehow.
01:17And in terms of like historic slavery as well, I think they're going to be looking into that.
01:21I mean, what do you think of them kind of deciding to do it now?
01:25Um, I mean, long time coming really, isn't it?
01:28Also, you know, now we're being more aware about minorities and the role of minorities,
01:38especially the black community that has played a really important role,
01:42also to make Britain the way it is. So I think it's also basically
01:48asking for forgiveness for what has happened in the past and taking responsibility.
