00:00hi everybody we are the Hodgson family and you're here again at Hodgson family
00:04lights after our amazing Halloween we're back for Christmas we've got over 36,000
00:10lights we've got eight interactive stations we talk about all year we work
00:14at it all year I'm part of a group called the European lighting fanatics we
00:18have zoom calls where we train people how to do this every week for free on
00:22zoom so we're talking about this in February basically we've been adding a
00:25lot more interactive elements this year so we've got a lot more buttons not
00:29gonna give too much away because the whole idea is you gotta come you gotta
00:31press and hold a button and then you gotta find out what it's doing but yeah
00:35we've been putting a lot more into sort of some homemade crafty sort of things
00:39which we're really excited about if we just kept it the same I think it'd be a
00:43bit boring so we just try and say what can we add what can we do that's a
00:46little bit different and we focused on interactivity let the kids have a play
00:50with it yeah a bit of light entertainment we've got some popular
00:55songs Disney songs and some Christmas songs obviously there's some yes some
01:01very cheesy Christmas songs Scout's favorite Christmas robot that if
01:05listening to it too many times it gets stuck in your head even more so for me
01:08because I program it so then I have to listen to it again and again and again
01:11as I'm programming it to the sensory sessions on Tuesdays Fridays Saturdays
01:16and Sundays the it's it's lower music not as flashy and you know everybody's
01:23welcome to that it's a lot quieter as well we are we're extremely happy with
01:27the reaction that we get from the community and from everybody and we just
01:30want to keep raising money and that's that's why we do it just a bit of fun
01:33and bring some light to the streets Leeds and if you don't come you will
01:45make an eight-year-old cry so you know it's been incredible for the charity for
01:52the community we really just want to thank everybody for supporting this
01:55crazy stupid house full of lights
