00:00We've been pretty badly hit, a lot of fallen trees across the county and teams have been
00:23out throughout the night and early this morning trying to deal with that.
00:26We're trying to get some of the roads open as quickly as possible, but as you can see
00:29behind me some large trees have come down, damage has been caused but thankfully no injuries
00:33reported at the moment to any residents in Swansea.
00:37We do have a resident who's potentially been displaced from their home as well as a result
00:41of that and we're trying to work to re-house them, but thankfully no injuries but a lot
00:44of damage caused by the storms.
00:46A tree of the size that's behind us comes down, that is a risk to life, if you're hit
00:50by one of these you will not survive, so good that people have heeded that warning.
00:54Damage can be repaired, trees can be removed, but people need to stay safe, so yeah it's
00:58absolutely right that the red warning was issued.
