00:10has ordered the transfer of Mary Jane Veloso's case to her home country, the Philippines,

00:25regarding the transfer of Mary Jane between Menko Kumham Ibipas RI, Yusreel Izzah,
00:30and the Filipino Minister of Justice, Raul Vazquez, in Jakarta on Friday, December 6.
00:38Today we have reached an agreement together.
00:41We do not give permission or give the case to the defendant,
00:46but we agree to return the defendant to the Philippines.
00:51And then, it is obligatory to hold a hearing on Mary Jane Veloso's case
00:58as a responsible member of the Philippine government.
01:01Will there be a grant or permission?
01:07This is an obligation from the President of the Philippines, whom we respect.
01:11We don't have a specific date, but it is as soon as possible.
01:15We have to follow the internal rules and procedures of the Indonesian Corrections Authority with respect to that.
01:24But as I said, from the end of the Philippines, we are ready and able to do it anytime
01:30in order to facilitate the immediate transfer of Mary Jane.
01:35Yusreel added that this agreement was the last of the long negotiations
01:39for almost 10 years since Mary Jane was found dead.
01:44In addition, Yusreel stated that the transfer of Mary Jane's case has been proposed by the Indonesian government
01:49to the Philippine Ministry of Justice, which then agreed to all the points stipulated in the draft.
