00:00Authorities are now looking at the campaign against Paputok so that the illegal sellers of it can be seen.

00:15The BFP has now stopped monitoring the Paputok businessmen a few weeks before Christmas and New Year.

00:24The Bureau of Fire Protection ordered the location of this area of Rizal Avenue in Barangay Poblacion, Mangaldan, Pangasinan.

00:37According to the inspection, the illegal sellers of Paputok in the town should be seen.

00:42It cannot be avoided that now that the holiday season has started, there are people who are selling Paputok one by one even though there is no permit.

00:50According to the management of Mangaldan Fire Station, there are now eight businessmen who submitted applications to their offices to sell Paputok.

01:08They were issued a Fire Safety Inspection Certificate, which is one of the requirements to obtain a permit from the LGU and Camp Krami.

01:16They will be allowed to sell Paputok from December 28 to December 30.

01:21But it can be adjusted depending on the negotiation of the businessmen with the local government.

01:28With the consent of the LGU, as long as they have an appropriate permit to operate and to sell, we allow that provided that it is away from the public.

01:45The BFE promised strict monitoring and implementation of regulations regarding the sale of Paputok

01:52once there is a firecracker zone in the town where only the businessmen can set up their business.

01:58In my opinion, we should be careful because we have a law that should be followed.

02:03Three incidents of fire were reported in the town this year.

02:07It is hoped that this will not happen again until the end of 2024.
