00:24Agrarian reform beneficiaries in the Davao region have expressed their gratitude for

00:32the Marcos Jr. Administration's program that aims to provide Filipino farmers with their own land.

00:38This comes after the distribution of land titles and certificates of condonation

00:43with the release of mortgage in Region 11, benefiting 7,558 ARBs. The total amount of

00:49debt condoned reached over 500 million pesos. President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr. personally

00:56led the ceremony. The president highlighted his goal to grant land to Filipino farmers,

01:01especially those who need it most.

01:03I am here to distribute the certificates of freedom to our agrarian reform beneficiaries

01:10in your debt to agrarian land.

01:15This initiative was organized by the Department of Agrarian Reform,

01:18DAR Region 11, aimed at improving the lives of agrarian reform beneficiaries.

01:24In Region 11, an initial distribution of 9,058 kokrums is underway,

01:29benefiting 6,951 ARBs. This includes the provinces of Davao del Norte,

01:35Davao de Oro, and Davao Oriental. Davao del Norte received 2,337 kokrums for 1,731 ARBs.

01:45In Davao de Oro, 4,901 kokrums were handed out, benefiting 3,614 ARBs. Davao Oriental received

01:531,820 kokrums for distribution to 1,606 ARBs.

01:59Meanwhile, for the Certificate of Land Ownership Award, Davao City received

02:03144 regular CLOA titles for 142 beneficiaries. In addition, the Region was issued a total of

02:10672 electronic titles, with 122 for Davao del Sur and 550 for Davao del Norte.

02:18Julito Malyo, an ARB from Carmen, Davao del Norte, expressed gratitude for the program.

02:29He shared the program's great help to farmers by significantly improving the quality of their

02:34lives and livelihoods. This is not the only project organized by DAR 11 for farmers.

02:39Agrarian Reform beneficiaries' organizations across the Region also received machinery,

02:44equipment, and agricultural support projects.
