00:31Working with the police, the council and officers can employ a number of tactics to uncover
00:35hidden goods, including specially trained dogs to find vapes.
00:40Businesses are warned before they face any enforcement action, with the council writing
00:44to proprietors to advise them how to comply.
00:47The government's laid legislation to introduce a ban on the sale and supply of single-use
00:50vapes in England.
00:52Businesses will have until the 1st of June 2025 to sell any remaining stock they hold
00:57and prepare for the ban coming into force.
