00:00Well, it's quite clearly a desperate reset,
00:02a desperate relaunch in an attempt
00:04to rescue the fortunes of a failing government.
00:07Keir Starmer's approval ratings have plummeted to minus 32%.
00:11And that's not surprising.
00:12They've broken all their election promises.
00:14It turns out they lied during the election campaign
00:16by saying they weren't going to increase taxes.
00:18And yet they've imposed the biggest tax
00:20increases in recent history, which will hit families.
00:24They'll hit working people.
00:25They'll hit businesses.
00:27It'll result in job losses.
00:29And they stripped winter fuel payments
00:31from almost every single pensioner,
00:33including pensioners in poverty.
00:34All the while, Keir Starmer has been loading up
00:37on personal freebies from Lord Alley
00:39and handing out massive pay rises to his union bosses.
00:43So it's no surprise the public have got sick of them already.
00:46And what we're seeing today is a desperate relaunch
00:49in an attempt to turn around their flagging fortunes.
00:52We left office with inflation down at 2%.
00:55His claims about a black hole have been completely debunked
00:58by the Office for Budget Responsibility.
01:01We had record police numbers upon leaving office.
01:04What this is designed to fix are his terrible poll ratings,
01:07which have collapsed to minus 32%.
