00:00I'm really pleased to be officially opening this wonderful boardwalk.
00:06It's even better than I pictured actually when I was getting briefed on it and hearing about
00:11the progress as it was being built. It's a beautiful, beautiful spot and it's a really
00:16wonderful piece of local infrastructure for people to come down, tourists to come down
00:21and see the wonderful mangroves and beautiful environment that we've got here in Husker
00:26in this beautiful, beautiful part of the world, but also for locals to come down for a moment
00:30of peace and enjoy this beautiful, beautiful spot. Really impressive boardwalk, great location.
00:37Congratulations to everyone who's been a part of contributing to the construction and planning for
00:42this work. I know it's a complicated piece of work when you want to protect the environment
00:47and mangroves that are here, which is what this is for, but also create a beautiful space for
00:51people to be able to enjoy for many, many decades to come. It really is one of the best parts of
00:58New South Wales. I think what this does is allows people to, you know, come along the boardwalk here
01:04and really understand why this area is so special. I've been here a number of times, you know,
01:10sneaking in and having a look and I've literally seen people in wheelchairs being able to access
01:16this and I think that really says it all. It's about tourism. I was just talking before,
01:21I think the people counters have gone in and since they've gone in, I think we had 29,000
01:27visitors that have come through onto the boardwalk and that's before the summer holiday.
